Cabin 3: Screened Back Porch Up to two people allowed in Cabin 3
The Back Porch on Cabin 3.I can't tell you the hours I've spent on this backporch with my computer with the trees listing in the breeze, the birds - blue jays and Magpies, especially, setting up a raucous chatter, and the beaver lodge not 50 feet in front of where I sat as I worked. And did you know how much chipmunks love peanut butter? I found out. I'd set a live trap with peanut butter, ready to take elsewhere. In the meantime it was in my kitchen. That chipmunk burst through the smallest opening in the screened door to the back porch. His entire demeanor said, "I can't wait anymore. I know there's a human there, but I've got to try." He barreled past me into the kitchen, hoping for some peanut butter ... but he was too big for the opening in the trap. I wondered if he was still in the cabin. I told Brad about it. After all, the chipmunk was very cute, but I didn't really want him in the cabin. They can wreak a lot of damage. Brad said the chipmunk didn't want to be in there with me anymore than I wanted him. Brad was right. He must have run in and run right out the front door. It was so cute though. I'll never forget. - glo This cabin is ideal for artists of all type. That wonderful backporch is set up perfectly.
